WHAT: Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Division will announce the arrest of suspects responsible for the deaths of several children and adults who perished in a fire in 1993.

WHO: Chief Charlie Beck, Los Angeles Police Department Captain William Hays, Commanding Officer, Robbery Homicide Division
WHY: On May 3, 1993, a fire swept through an apartment complex near downtown Los Angeles killing several people, including 7 children. After an extensive and exhaustive investigation, multiple suspects were identified and arrested.
