Woodland Hills: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division are seeking the public’s help to identify the driver responsible for a hit-and-run traffic collision that left a 76-year-old woman severely injured.
On Sunday, November 24, 2024, around 6:40 p.m., a dark colored sedan, traveling south on Fallbrook Avenue at Victory Boulevard, struck a pedestrian crossing the street. The driver failed to stop, identify themselves, and/or render aid to the injured person, and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the severely injured pedestrian to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored sedan, possibly a 2010-2013 Honda Civic.
There is no suspect information.
On April 15, 2015, the City Council amended the Los Angeles Administrative Code and created a Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund. A reward of up to $25,000 is available to community members that provide information leading to the offender’s identification, apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise.
Drivers are reminded that if they become involved in a collision, they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene to identify themselves.
