WHERE: Police Headquarters – Compstat 100 West 1st St Los Angeles, California 90012

WHO: LAPD Assistant Chief Beatrice Girmala, Director of Office of Special Operations LAPD Lieutenant John Radtke, West Bureau Homicide

WHY: On Wednesday, January 10, 2018 LAPD and LAFD personnel responded to a fire in the Pico Union area. A body was discovered when the flames were extinguished. Information related to the case will be shared at the news conference.
