WHY:
On August 27, 2021, around 4:00 a.m., a suspect entered an apartment unit, located in the 11000 block of Strathmore Drive, where several female UCLA Students were residing. The suspect, described as a male White or Hispanic, entered a bedroom where one of the female residents was sleeping and sexually assaulted her as she slept. The victim awoke and confronted the suspect, who ran from the apartment and fled the area in a vehicle that was parked nearby.

The vehicle driven by the suspect is described as a late model Gray Ford Fusion 4-door and was last seen southbound on Veteran Avenue, from Levering Avenue.
