Non-Tactical Unintentional Discharge (NTUD) – NRF014-23bb

On April 16, 2023, at around 6:15 PM, an off-duty officer assigned to Rampart Division was in the Men’s locker room after concluding his shift. While conducting an inspection of his back-up weapon a Non-Tactical Unintentional Discharge (NTUD) occurred.
One round was inadvertently discharged. No one was injured because of this incident.
Force Investigation Division (FID) detectives responded to the scene and are investigating this incident.
