Non-Tactical Unintentional Discharge (NTUD) NRF029-24bb

On May 31, 2024, at around 8:30 p.m., an off-duty Police Officer assigned to Central Division was inside her residence, located outside of the City, loading her duty pistol when a Non-Tactical Unintentional Discharge occurred.

The bullet struck a nearby baseboard and was embedded in the wall.

No officers or community members were injured as a result of this Non-Tactical Unintentional Discharge.

Force Investigation Division (FID) investigators responded to the scene and are investigating this incident.
