Non-Tactical Unintentional Discharge (NTUD) NRF036-23ne

Los Angeles: On August 12, 2023, around 2:47 p.m., an on-duty Police Officer assigned to Community Safety Partnership Bureau (CSPB) was in the Hollenbeck Station CSPB Office located on the second floor. While conducting an inspection of his duty weapon a Non-Tactical Unintentional Discharge (NTUD) occurred. One round was discharged into the east wall of the office. The round traveled through the office wall and impacted into the east wall of the second-floor hallway. No one was injured during the incident. Force Investigation Division (FID) investigators responded to the scene and are investigating this incident.
