Opens https://lacity.gov/directory in a new window.Vermont-Slauson: The Los Angeles Police Department’s South Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect, or suspects, responsible for the shooting death of a 20-year-old female.
On March 21, 2024, around 4:20 a.m., 77th Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 7000 block of South Figueroa Street.
When the officers arrived, they located the victim near the corner of 70th Street and Figueroa Street, suffering from a gunshot wound. The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded and transported the victim to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.
