Organized Retail Crimes Task Force Arrests Four NR23713mo/ne

Los Angeles:  On October 12, 2023, members of the Los Angeles Police Department Organized Retail Crime Task Force (ORCTF) served search warrants at two residential locations in Los Angeles for suspects identified as involved in multiple thefts from retail stores. The suspects were responsible for crimes in Los Angeles, Carson, Lakewood, and other surrounding cities.

Suspects Harris, Daronica (Booking Number 6692979), and Scott, Quenda (Booking Number 6692977), were arrested for Penal Code section 487 (a) – Grand Theft with active Ramey warrants. They remain in custody with $150,000 bail. Two additional suspects were arrested one for an outstanding felony warrant, and one for identity theft.

The officers recovered one loaded firearm that had been reported stolen, approximately $1800.00 in cash, smash-and-grab tools, and numerous items that had been stolen from the retail stores. Representatives from the victimized retailers responded and identified their merchandise. As of the time of this release, approximately $4500.00 worth of stolen merchandise has been identified and returned.
