Pacific Division Seeks Owner of Life-Size Horse
On Monday, December 27, 1999, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Pacific area patrol officers were conducting routine patrol in the area of Manchester Avenue and Hastings Avenue when they observed what appeared to to be a full sized horse in the distance. Officers cautiously approached the horse so that they wouldn’t startle it. Upon further investigation, the officers found that the horse was in fact a life-size fiberglass replica.
The officers then requested a tow truck to move the the life-size model from the street and had the "horse" moved to Pacific Community Police Station where it now stands to be claimed by it’s owner. The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the Public’s assistance in identifying the rightful owner of the horse. The horse is available for photographs or video at Pacific Community Police Station.
