Physical Altercation Results in Death

 
Los Angeles: On Friday, June 6, 2003, at about 9:45 p.m., the victim and the suspect were engaged in a dispute to the rear of their shared apartment, located in the 800 block of W. 41st Street. The dispute between both individuals escalated into a physical altercation, causing the victim to fall back and strike his head against a concrete driveway. Witnesses attempted to help the victim to his feet, but he did not respond.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
The suspect later surrendered to police at Southwest Police Station. The suspect has been identified as 32 year-old Terrance Mosley and was arrested for 187 P.C. (Murder).
The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification to his family.
