WHAT:
South Traffic Division detectives will share updates on a fatal hit and run that occurred on December 24, 2022 near Broadway and 88th Street.

Victim’s family members

WHY:
On December 24, 2022, around 3:25 p.m., the victim was parked in the area of South Broadway and 88th Street, dropping off toys to a local shelter with her children. As she returned to her vehicle, a blue mid-size sedan traveling northbound on South Broadway struck her and fled northbound on South Broadway, failing to stop or render aid. Unfortunately, the victim died as result of the collision.

South Traffic Division detectives will provide an update on the status of the case.
