LAPD’s South Traffic Division is seeking help from the public in solving a brutal hit-and-run traffic collision which occurred on Friday, December 3, 1999, near the intersection of Adams Boulevard and St. James Place.
A 29 year old mother, her 9 year old child and an 8 year old friend were crossing in a marked crosswalk when they were struck by a vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Adams Boulevard.
The suspect, a male Hispanic in his late twenties or early thirties, fled in his car northbound on St. James Place. He didn’t even slowed down!
