WHERE: Japanese American Cultural Center-Garden Level 244 S San Pedro Street Los Angeles, CA 90012
WHO: Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches
WHY: Officer Matthew Medina has served the Los Angeles Police Department for 7 ½ years. He was recently diagnosed Aplastic Anemia and is in need of a life-saving marrow donor. Every 3 minutes, someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer, like Leukemia or Lymphoma. 70% of patients don’t have a compatible match in the family and rely on finding an unrelated donor. You can help increase odds for every patient by joining the registry.
