Residential Robbers Sought in Winsor Area

Los Angeles:  Olympic Area detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating two residential robbery suspects in the Windsor Area of Los Angeles.

On Friday, February 13, 2009, at around 8:30 a.m., two Hispanic men posing as gas company employees knocked on the front door of the victim’s residence and told her they needed to get to the back of the house to read the meter.  A short time later, the suspects again knocked on the door and told the victim she needed to sign a form.  When the victim opened the door, the suspects pushed their way in and pulled out handguns.  The suspects tied up the victim and took a large sum of cash.

The suspects in this case were not wearing gas company uniforms, however, they did wear blue khaki pants, orange vests and white construction hats.

Both suspects were 25 to 30 years of age.  One of them was about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighed around 330 pounds.  He has a pock marked face and the letters “SC” tattooed on his forehead.  The other suspect was wearing prescription glasses and was about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighed about 170 pounds.

Both suspects were armed with chrome handguns and should be considered armed and dangerous.
