WHY: The Los Angeles City Council, with sponsorship from Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, 3rd District, has approved a $50,000 reward. Anyone with information is asked to come forward and help Valley Traffic Division Detectives solve this fatal hit-and-run collision that occurred on Thursday April 3, 2014 at approximately 9:35 a.m. Valley Traffic Officers responded to investigate a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Lull Street near Enfield Avenue. Officers discovered that Barbara Jo Williams, was retrieving items from her car when she was struck by a newer model grey Chevy Equinox. The suspect immediately fled the scene without exchanging information or rendering aid as required by law.
