On Thursday, November 11, 1999, at approximately 1:55 A.M., Northeast Area Uniformed Patrol Officers responded to a radio call, "Ambulance ADW, Shots fired" in the 3100 block of Los Feliz Boulevard. Upon the officer’s arrival, they discovered the victim inside of the location. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene, and paramedics administered emergency medical treatment to the victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital and listed in serious but stable condition.
The subsequent investigation by patrol officers revealed that an argument possibly involving rival gangs erupted inside of the location. These individuals were subsequently escorted outside of the building. The suspects then entered their vehicles, which were parked nearby, and as they left the location, fired several shots into the building. The victim, a 22-year-old female Asian was struck in the left arm. The round continued through her arm and into her left chest area. The gunshot wound was not life threatening.
The suspects were last seen driving towards the Interstate 5 Freeway.
There is no further information at this time. Northeast CRASH Detectives are conducting the investigation.
