"Senior Lead Officer Cell Phone Numbers Available Online"

Los Angeles: On July 21, 2000, the Los Angeles Police Department received 233 cell phones from AT&T. These phones have been distributed to all Senior Lead Officers (SLO) and Basic Car Coordinators (BCC) to help facilitate communication with the communities they serve. Basic Car Coordinators and Senior Lead Officers are important liaisons to the community and rely on communication with the community to provide feedback and to help resolve non-emergency quality of life issues.

This program is sponsored by AT&T who has also provided free airtime for the use of these cellular phones and it is now available.

The general public can access the list of Senior Lead Officers and their cellular telephone numbers through the Los Angeles Police Department’s website (www.lapdonline.org)
