Sexual Assaults Involving the Date Rape Drug GHB

West Los Angeles detectives are currently involved in the ongoing investigation of two separate sexual assaults involving the "date rape drug" GHB, which occurred between August and September of 1999. The location, a residence, on the10800 block of Sunset Boulevard, is owned by one of the suspects currently in custody, Mr. Joseph Simon Arsenault.

There are currently 2 cases pending which have certain similarities and unique details. On September 27, 1999 West Los Angeles detectives served a search warrant at the aforementioned location, which led to the recovery of various narcotics as well other items of evidentiary value.

The suspects currently in custody are:

Arsenault, Joseph Simon
Male, White, black hair, blue eyes, 6’02" tall, 170 pounds,
40 years old,
Booking Charge: 261(a)(3) PC

Moe, Heather Lynn
Female, White, blonde hair, blue eyes, 5’07" tall, 125 pounds, 24 years old,
Booking Charge: 264.1 PC
