Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting that has critically injured a 19-year-old.
On November 17, 2017 around 10:50 p.m., Mission Area patrol officers responded to a call of a “shooting just occurred”, on Van Nuys Boulevard and Roscoe Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found 19-year-old Alexis Saldana suffering from a gunshot wound.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to render medical aid and transported Mr. Saldana to a local hospital.
The investigation revealed that a car to car shooting occurred. After the shooting, Mr. Saldana’s vehicle drove into a structure. The suspect(s) drove away in a black SUV, there is no suspect description. Anyone with additional information is urged to call Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives, at (818) 374-1934.
