Los Angeles: Newton Area Detectives are investigating the shooting death of Jesus Moya, a male Hispanic, 21 years of age.
On January 3, 2003, at 9:30 p.m., the victim was seated in a car parked in the driveway of the 200 block of West 62nd Street. An unknown number of suspects pulled up and stopped their vehicle behind the victim’s vehicle. Two suspects emerged from their car and began to shoot into the victim’s vehicle. Moya sustained numerous gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motive is unknown and there is no suspect information at this time.
