Boyle Heights: Los Angeles Police Department Operations Central Bureau Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect, or suspects, responsible for killing a man.
On June 13, 2023, around 4:27 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department Hollenbeck Area uniformed patrol officers responded to a radio call of shots fired near the 3400 block of Emery Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, later identified as Noah Martinez, a 25-year-old male, a resident of Los Angeles, had been struck by gunfire. Officers performed medical treatment on Martinez and requested an ambulance. The Los Angeles Fire Department personnel arrived on scene and continued life-saving efforts. Unfortunately, Martinez succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
Operations Central Bureau Homicide responded and assumed investigative responsibility. The investigation resulted in the recovery of expended casings and there were no witnesses located at scene.
