San Pedro: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting death of a 21-year-old male Hispanic.
On November 26, 2019, at approximately 11:15 p.m., officers responded to an ambulance shooting call in the 1900 block of Meyler Street. Upon arrival, officers were directed to the victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim had just left a party and was on the east sidewalk when an unknown suspect fired multiple rounds in the victim’s direction, striking him and causing him to fall to the ground.
Two female victims were also stuck by gunfire. Those two victims were transported to a local hospital and are expected to survive.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to render aid. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries. The suspect’s vehicle was not seen and the detectives do not have any leads as to the suspect(s) identity.
