Hollywood: Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect, or suspects, responsible for killing a man near a homeless encampment.
On Monday, November 21, 2022, around 2:30 a.m., Hollywood patrol officers responded to a radio call of shots fired near Vine Street and La Mirada Avenue. When officers arrived, they located a victim of a shooting on the sidewalk. Officers attempted life saving measures prior to the arrival of paramedics.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene. The unidentified victim was a male in his forties and believed to be homeless.
There is no suspect description.
