"Shooting Victim On Hollywood Street Dies From Injuries"
 

Los Angeles: On Saturday, April 6, 2002, at 6:08 a.m., patrol officers from the Los Angeles Police Department, Hollywood Area, responded to a report of shots being fired at 5301 Sunset Boulevard. Upon their arrival the officers located a victim who had sustained numerous gunshot wounds. The suspect, described as a male Black, 25 years of age, wearing a gray sweatshirt over a red shirt and black pants, had left the location on foot.
On Saturday, April 6, 2002, at 6:08 a.m., patrol officers from the Los Angeles Police Department, Hollywood Area, responded to a report of shots being fired at 5301 Sunset Boulevard. Upon their arrival the officers located a victim who had sustained numerous gunshot wounds. The suspect, described as a male Black, 25 years of age, wearing a gray sweatshirt over a red shirt and black pants, had left the location on foot.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the location and transported the victim to Cedars Sinai Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The victim is identified as Andric Porter, a 32 year old resident of Hollywood.
