WHAT: Police officers from Central Division will be shopping for school supplies with children from a local elementary school.

WHEN: Wednesday, August 31, 2016 3 p.m.

WHERE: Target Store 735 South Figueroa Los Angeles, CA 90017

WHO: Mayor Eric Garcetti, City of Los Angeles Council-member Jose Huizar, District 14 LAPD Captain Donald Graham, Central Area Patrol Commanding Officer LAPD Central Senior Lead Officers LAPD Central Gang Enforcement Detail LAPD Community Relations Division, Social Media Team Central City Boosters

WHY: Police officers from Central Division will be partnering with kids from the Ann Street Elementary School to shop for school supplies. Twelve pre-selected kids will be representing their classes and shop for school supplies for the upcoming year. The principal, staff, and family of the students will also be in attendance.
