WHAT: Christmas Shopping with local Community Heroes & Helpers Program
WHEN: Thursday, December 6th & Friday, December 7th, 2018 7:30 a.m.
WHERE: Target Store 9725 Laurel Canyon Blvd. Pacoima, Ca 91331
WHO: Foothill Area Senior Lead Officers and Youth Service Officers Target Store Team Members
WHY: The local Target Store reached out to LAPD-Foothill Division to participate with Community Heroes & Helpers Program (Shop with a Cop). The Target Corporate Office invited the Senior Lead Officer of the area to apply for a grant for the (kids in need) within the community. The result was a $3,000 grant to take 20 kids from Foothill Area on a shopping spree. These selected kids get to spend $150 dollars to buy what they want for themselves and their family for Christmas.
