Stabbing Incident Occurs Outside Night Club

Victim#1: Perez, Alejandro Male, Hispanic, 23/24 years of age
Victim’s #2 through #5: Male, Hispanics. There is no additional information and their names are not available for release.

Suspect: Male, Hispanic, No additional information is available

Weapon: Knife.

On Sunday, July 4,1999 at approximately 2:00 A.M., a dispute occurred outside the Dancing Waters Night Club, located at 1331 Pacific Avenue, San Pedro. The incident escalated when the suspect began stabbing Victim’s #1 through #5 with a knife. The suspect then fled from the scene. The motive why this incident occurred has not been established. The victim’s were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. Victim Perez died at the hospital as a result of multiple stab wounds. Victim’s #2 through #5 were also treated for multiple stab wounds and are hospitalized.
