Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) who killed a man.
On April 2, 2020, around 11:40 p.m., Van Nuys Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “Ambulance stabbing” on the 15200 block of Burbank Blvd. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a male suffering from stab wounds, lying on the sidewalk.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the male dead at scene.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification to next of kin. He is described as a 35-year-old, male, Black transient.
Witnesses heard screams coming from the area shortly before the victim was discovered.
There is no suspect description and the motive for this homicide is not known.
