Los Angeles: Detectives from the
Los Angeles Police Department’s Northeast Division are seeking the
public’s assistance in identifying the suspects of multiple street
robberies.
On Tuesday, September 1, 2015, around 5:30 a.m., two suspects drove
up next to the first victim, who was walking in the 2800 block of
Fletcher Drive. One of the suspects asked the victim for
directions, while the second suspect exited the vehicle, pointed a
handgun at the victim, and demanded the victim’s property. Both
suspects drove away in an unknown direction.
Approximately 15 minutes later, the same suspects approached a
second victim, who was walking near the intersection of Tyburn
Street and Atwater Avenue. The driver asked for directions while
the passenger got out of the vehicle and demanded the victim’s
property. The suspects drove away from the area.
Some of the property taken from the victims included credit cards.
These credit cards were used at a local store, where the suspects’
images were captured by surveillance video.
The driver is described as a White male, blonde hair, with a
mustache. He stands approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall. The
passenger is described as a Black male, black hair with a mustache,
and possible earring in the left ear. He stands approximately 5
feet 10 inches tall.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white late model Kia
Optima.
