WHY: The Newton Area Community Safety Partnership Team is hosting a community Super Hero Fun Run in honor and memory of Semmi Veasey. Semmi courageously battled a rare form of brain cancer at 8-years-old. Community members and children are invited to wear super hero costumes in honor of Semmi, and join us for a kid friendly community fun run and celebration in the Pueblo del Rio Housing Development.
