WHY:
On Saturday, March 4, 2023, at approximately 5:45 p.m., several groups of individuals were congregating at Royal Palms Beach located at 1800 W. Paseo Del Mar, in the city of San Pedro. Two of these groups became involved in a verbal and physical altercation that ultimately led to a shooting where five individuals were struck by gunfire. Multiple people fled the area, and numerous calls to 911 were generated.

Harbor Area Gang Detectives took investigative responsibility for this case. Details of the arrest will be discussed during the News Conference.
