Los Angeles: Suspect viciously attacks two victims, murdering one and leaving the other victim in critical condition.
On February 8, 2016, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Los Angeles Police Department Mission Area Uniformed Patrol Officers responded to a radio call of an “Assault with a Deadly Weapon Ambulance Cutting,” at the 8700 block of Parthenia Place in the City of North Hills.
Upon officers arrival, they located two victims at scene. Victim one was observed to be unconscious and not breathing. Victim One sustained numerous lacerations about his body.
Victim Two was observed to have a head injury. Victim Two was also unconscious but was breathing.
Los Angeles City Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered emergency medical treatment to both victims. Victim One succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at scene. Victim Two was transported to a local area hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Los Angeles Police Department Operation Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives responded to the crime scene and are conducting the investigation.
Victim one is described as a thirty-eight year old male Hispanic and resident of the City of North Hills. Victim Two has not been positively identified at this time. Victim One’s identity is not being released at this time pending notification to family.
