Hollywood: Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects involved in a shooting that left one man dead.
On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, around 11:00 p.m., Hollywood Division patrol officers responded to the area of Tamarind Avenue and Carlos Avenue for a radio call of a shooting which had just occurred. One shot was heard, and the victim was in a white rental truck that had collided with a parked vehicle.
Officers located an unresponsive shooting victim and removed him from the vehicle. Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at scene.
The victim was a male adult, approximately sixty years of age. His name is being withheld pending notification to next of kin. The victim was possibly homeless. Currently, there is no suspect description.
