Los Angeles:  Los Angeles Police Department Pacific Area detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect who robbed a woman in her home.

On December 6, 2010, at around 11:15 p.m., the victim returned to her home located in the 8100 block of Westlawn Avenue, in the Westchester area of Los Angeles.  As she rested on her couch, a male suspect confronted her at gunpoint.  When the victim began to scream, the suspect grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the floor.  The suspect then fired one round from his handgun towards the victim.  Alerted by the sound of gunfire and the victim’s screams, her husband entered the room, distracted the suspect allowing the victim to run outside and call for help.
