Suspect Uses Stun Gun to Rob Woman

Los Angeles: On Thursday, February 21, 2002, at approximately 7:20 p.m., a robbery occurred in the 20300 block of Wells Drive in Woodland Hills. A Woodland Hills resident was parking her vehicle in her garage when she was approached by a male suspect. He pulled her out of her vehicle and demanded she lie on the ground. As she was attempting to comply with his demands, the suspect hit her numerous times on the back of her head with a pistol. The suspect then used a stun gun and shocked her several times on her back. The suspect pulled the victim’s necklace off her neck and removed her rings and earrings. After stripping the victim of her jewelry, the suspect found her purse in the backseat of her vehicle and stole $200.00.
The victim remained on the ground until the suspect fled on foot. She then entered her house and telephoned 911.
The suspect is described as a male, Middle Easterner, black hair, dark eyes, 5’7, 170 pounds and 28 to 30 years old. He was wearing a black jacket and black pants. He wore black leather gloves.
