Los Angeles: On August 17, 2023, Robbery-Homicide Division, Robbery Special Section has made an arrest in connection with the crime spree below.
Stayshawn Stephens was identified as one of the male suspects involved in the crime spree and was arrested in Los Angeles for California Penal Code §211 – Robbery, Booking No. 6661343, and is currently being held on $1,300,000 bail. The case will be presented to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office for filing consideration.

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division, Robbery Special Section is seeking the public’s help to identify suspects wanted for robbery.
On August 16, 2023, between 9:40 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., a series of six robberies occurred in four geographic divisions of the Los Angeles Police Department. The suspects were armed and targeted taco vendors at various locations within the Hollywood, Rampart, Northeast, and Central Divisions. The specific locations targeted were as follows:
Hollywood Division:
5900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard
6200 block of Hollywood Boulevard
Rampart Division:
300 block of South Bixel Avenue
600 block of South Union Avenue
Northeast Division:
1500 block of N. Alvarado Boulevard
Central Division:
900 block of S. Broadway
The suspects are described as two to four male blacks, mid-20 to early 30-years-old, dressed in dark clothing. During each incident, the suspects approached the victims, displayed a handgun, demanded money, and made their escape in a white sedan with stolen property.
