Los Angeles: On Wednesday, January 8, 2003, Los Angeles Police Officers from North Hollywood Area, Valley Traffic Division, and Valley Bureau Headquarters, will focus on violent crimes and quality of life issues in the North Hollywood Area of the San Fernando Valley.
The focus area is bordered by the Golden State Freeway on the north and east, Coldwater Canyon Avenue on the west, and Sherman Way on the south.
Operations will commence at approximately 7:30 a.m. and will continue past midnight.
There will be zero- tolerance for traffic violations and criminal acts in the affected area.
Recent past task forces in other areas of the valley have resulted in hundreds of traffic citations, vehicle impounds, and several arrests.
Other similar task forces to combat violent crime and improve the quality of life will be conducted in other parts of the San Fernando Valley.
