WHO: Consul General of Sri Lanka, Swarna Gunaratni Dr. Ahmad Sobah, Chairman, Islamic Shura Council of SoCal Rabbi Abraham Cooper, Assoc. Dean and Director of Global Social Action at the Simon Wiesenthal Center Pastor J. WHY: In observance of the month of Ramadan, the LAPD is hosting a community event that is all inclusive to all faiths and cultures. As an organization, the LAPD want to show solidarity with those in the Islamic faith, and we want to do it in collaboration with community members of all faiths. In attendance, there will be members of the Jewish, Buddhist, Christian, and Islamic faiths, coming together to break bread inside LAPD HQ.
