WHAT:
Charity Basketball game between the Skid Row Conference All-Stars represented by
players from the Midnight Mission, Weingart Center, Union Rescue Mission and
Gladys Park VS. the Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) Young Gunz.

WHEN:
Wednesday, March 31, 2010
4:30 p.m. – Officers serve dinner to guests at the Mission
6:30 p.m. – Basketball game begins

WHY:
The LAPD Young Gunz basketball team will serve the nightly dinner to the
Mission guests and participate in a charity basketball game to help strengthen the
relationship between the LAPD and the community known as Skid Row.
