WHAT: Santa Claus, the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department personnel have teamed up to give toys to children in the Van Nuys community.

WHY: To help celebrate the holiday season, LAPD and LAFD have partnered with various community members and donors to help give back to our community. “Toys on Patrol Code 3” will surprise and distribute toys to children on Lennox Avenue between Valerio Street and Sherman Way. Santa will be coming in a fire truck escorted by members of LAPD and LAFD.
During this holiday event, the media will have the opportunity to meet with families receiving gifts and hear their personal stories.
