Los Angeles: In an effort to assist the public in avoiding possible traffic congestion during the visit of the Vice President of the United States, July 21, 22 and 23, the following areas of the City should be avoided when possible to prevent travel delays for community members:
Tuesday July 21, 2014 The area around Sepulveda Bl between Lincoln Bl & Century Bl from 9:00 p.m.to 11:00 p.m. The area around Santa Monica Bl between Sawtelle Bl and Wilshire Bl from 9:30 pm to 11:30 p.m. The area around Wilshire Bl between Santa Monica Bl and Beverly Dr from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Note: There will be no southbound traffic allowed on Rodeo Drive or El Camino Drive from Wilshire Boulevard. This closure will be in effect from 10:00 p.m. July 21, 2015 until 11:00 a.m. July 23, 2015.
Wednesday July 22, 2015 The area around Wilshire Bl between Beverly Dr and Santa Monica Bl from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The area around Wilshire Bl between San Vicente Bl and Santa Monica Bl from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The area around the Laurel Canyon Bl between Moorpark St and Vanowen St from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Note: A Hard Closure will occur along on Tujunga Ave between Sherman Way and Vanowen St from 12:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Thursday July 23, 2015 The area around Wilshire Bl between Santa Monica Bl and Beverly Dr from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The area around Santa Monica Bl between Sawtelle Bl and Wilshire Bl from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The area around Sepulveda Bl between Lincoln Bl & Century Bl from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
BUS STOPS AFFECTED: We do not anticipate that bus routes will be impacted by the movements of the Vice President except for short durations. Alternate routes are available and riders should utilize Metro.net for alternate bus routes if they are on a tight travel schedule.
