A 2-Day Bus Operator Driver Training Course
When:
Saturday & Sunday, December 14 & 15, 2002, from 7:00 a.m., to 3:00 p.m
Where:
The Airtel Plaza Hotel, 7277 Valjean Avenue, Los Angeles.
Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Transit Bus Division, together with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transit Agency Division #7, will be conducting a 2-day bus operator driver training course.
The Transportation Tactical Awareness Safety Course (T-TASC) will increase bus operator awareness and reduce traffic collisions. LAPD Transit Bus Division coordinated the efforts by utilizing Department expert collision investigators and driver training instructors.
The hands-on portion of the course will be held on the west side of the airport at Balboa Avenue and Stagg Street and will consist of instructional scenarios. The media is encouraged to attend the course, both classroom and training course.
