UPDATE
The investigation has shown on May 7, 2022, around 11:45 p.m. the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) received a 911 call on Sale Avenue north of Victory Blvd. The caller reported a woman disturbing the peace. Topanga Division patrol officers were dispatched to the “415 woman” call and were told “in front of P/R’s (person reporting) home, suspect female, White 40s, believes she lives at the location.” When officers arrived, they learned the resident did not know the woman. The woman was later identified as Angela Dawn Flores. The officers summoned Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics who transported her to a local hospital for medical treatment. Once at the hospital she was released to the care of the hospital.
On May 8, 2022, around 7:40 a.m., LAPD, Topanga Division patrol officers received a radio call to respond to a 911 call reporting an Assault with a Deadly Weapon suspect at a residence in the 22500 block of Victory Blvd. It was at that time officers found three juveniles unresponsive inside the location, ages ranging from 8 to 12 years old.
During the investigation, a neighbor told officers about the call from the prior night. Officers went to the hospital and detained Flores when her medical treatment was completed.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has charged Flores with three counts of 187(a) PC, Murder. And has charged the 16-year-old subject with one count 602 WIC 187(a) PC, Murder.
At this time, no additional information is being released by LAPD regarding the homicide investigation.
West Hills: On May 8, 2022, around 7:40 am, Los Angeles Police Department, Topanga Division patrol officers received a radio call to respond to a 911 call reporting an Assault with a Deadly Weapon suspect at a residence in the 22500 block of Victory Blvd. Officers arrived at the location and found three juveniles unresponsive inside the location, ages ranging from 8 to 12 years old. Los Angeles City Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene and determined all three children were deceased.
The children’s mother, 38-year-old Angela Flores, and a 16-year-old subject were detained for further investigation. During the subsequent investigation, Flores admitted to killing her children with the assistance of the 16-year-old subject. Flores was arrested for three counts of 187(a) PC, Murder, and booked at Van Nuys Jail. Flores is being held on $6,000,000 bail. The 16-year-old subject was arrested for one count of 187(a) PC, Murder, and is being held without bail at Sylmar Juvenile Hall.
This case will be presented to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration.
