Los Angeles: Two teenage boys were stabbed last night after a high school basketball game in Playa del Rey. The attempt murders took place around 9:15 P.M., near Saint Bernard High School in the vicinity of 92nd Street and Falmouth Avenue.
Groups of students and non-students became involved in numerous altercations when two male black juveniles, who did not appear to be students at Saint Bernard High School, were stabbed during the fights. Both victims were transported to a local hospital, one by ambulance, and the other by rescue helicopter. One victim is in stable condition and the second victim remain in critical condition. The number and description of the suspect are unknown, and the investigating detectives are determining if the motive is gang related.
