Two Detained For Possible Arson Investigation – NR23156dm

Los Angeles: On June 16, 2023, around 6:00 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a radio call reporting a possible arson suspect near Scott Avenue and Boylston Street.

Upon arrival, officers detained two male adults and determined that the fire was neither related to the demonstrations taking place at Dodger Stadium, nor an approximate 2 acre brush fire nearby.

One adult was cited under the violation of 57.307.7 LAMC (Failure to Exercise Caution with Fire) and released. The other adult was released without being cited.
