Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Bureau Homicide Division have arrested two homicide suspects in connection to a fatal shooting.
On Friday, September 11, 2020, at approximately1:23 p.m., LAPD 77th patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “Ambulance Shooting” at 50th Street east of Hoover Street.
Upon arrival, officers learned that two male Black victims had been shot multiple times. Victim-1, a 23-year-old, male Black, identified as Isaiah Hubbard, was transported via private vehicle to Hoover Street and Vernon Avenue, where the victim was intercepted by the Los Angeles Fire Department, who transported to a local hospital and died from his injuries he sustained.
Victim-2, a 23-year-old, male Black, was also shot multiple times and was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and listed in stable condition.
On Tuesday October 6, 2020, Tyler Tolliver, a 22-year-old male Black, and Kenneth Campbell, a 31-year-old male Black, were arrested for the murder of Hubbard and the attempt murder of the second victim.
On October 8, 2020, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed one count each of murder and attempt murder on Tolliver and Campbell.
