Two Men Found Dead in Wilshire NR21097ll

Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Bureau Homicide are investigating the death of two men in Wilshire.

On Monday, March 29, 2021, around 4:35 p.m., Wilshire Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a “Burglary Suspect There Now” in the 6600 block of Maryland Drive. While at scene, with the direction of neighbors, the officers located a male inside of a residence who had suffered stab wounds.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene.

A perimeter was established, and while officers were conducting a search, they located an additional male inside a near-by property. That male was also pronounced dead at scene, from an apparent self-inflicted stab wound. The investigation has confirmed him to be the suspect in the original stabbing.

Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide investigators are handling the investigation. It is believed that this is an isolated incident and there is not an active search for a suspect.
