Los Angeles: On Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at approximately 4:20 a.m., Los Angeles Police Department Hollywood Area officers responded to a shooting call in the 6200 block of Primrose Avenue. Upon arrival, the officers discovered a 28 year-old male Hispanic and a 23 year-old female Hispanic had both sustained gunshot wounds. Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victims to a local hospital.
The female victim did not respond to life saving treatment and was pronounced dead at the hospital at 6:30 a.m. The male victim was admitted in critical condition and is not expected to survive. Both victims’ identities are being withheld pending notification to their families.
As of yet, no suspects or leads have been developed. The motive remains unknown.
