Los Angeles: On Sunday, December 15, 2002, at approximately 6:00 p.m., three-year –old Hector Nungaray was fatally injured after he fell out of his father’s van and collided with the roadway.
The victim’s father, 35 year-old Hector Gonzalez Nungaray was driving the van on northbound Central Avenue to westbound Gage Avenue. As the van made a left turn, the van’s passenger’s door opened and the young child fell out. There was no evidence of intoxication on the driver, but he was found to be unlicensed.
